PRIVATE BROWSER PROCESSING

Compress a video toward 100 MB without uploading it

If the actual rule is “the file must be around 100 MB,” start with that number instead of guessing Low, Medium or High. The tool estimates a workable bitrate from duration and encodes locally.

Compress to 100 MB

100 MB is useful only when the destination has a real size limit

The 100 MB setting is an approximate target. Video complexity, audio bitrate and codec behavior can move the result above or below it. For a hard ceiling, enter a slightly smaller number to leave margin.

Privacy and limitations

Processing uses FFmpeg WebAssembly locally. The video is not uploaded by this tool. Closing or refreshing the page clears the working file. Speed depends on the browser, device memory, source codec, duration, and resolution, and tools that re-encode are not lossless.

Common questions

Will the result hit the target size exactly?

Treat it as an approximate target. The tool estimates bitrate to land near the number; leave margin for a hard limit.

Is my video uploaded to DJAI?

No. The source file is read and processed in your browser on your device.

Why can the first run take longer?

The browser downloads an FFmpeg WebAssembly core of roughly 31 MB the first time processing is needed; caching can help later runs.
