Export one worksheet into a plain tabular file

CSV represents one table rather than a multi-sheet workbook. Choose the sheet number for the worksheet you need and inspect the result before importing it into a database or automation.

Workbook styles, charts and separate worksheets cannot be stored in one CSV. Formula, date and rich cell values may need cleanup; this browser conversion is not a full Excel calculation engine. Keep the original XLSX for those workbook features.

Does the CSV keep Excel formatting and formulas?+

CSV cannot preserve workbook formatting or a workbook’s calculation model. Review formula and date cells carefully and retain the source XLSX.
